Trip Guide: Los Fresnos

For my September 2015 column, I headed to Texas’ southernmost county for a lot of birding, some barbacoa, and a little beach time. Like the whole of the Rio Grande Valley, Los Fresnos and its neighboring towns are ideally situated in the middle of the central flyway.
